Better Late Than Never I Guess…

So yeah… I do realize the series has since been poached, but here’s our version of the chapter if you guys still care for it.

TORRENT

If you would like to help with Hiyoko Brand coming out faster, we are currently looking for a translator to help with the series. Translator must be able to read kanji without furigana.

Iınstead of this I prefer you to continue the translation of Magikano since there is no group currently translating it.The raws are also available online.

  4. da MiGHTy pLUm! Says:

    uh, no.

  5. stelok Says:

Thanks for the release. But another scanlator has already translated the chapters 25-27. You’d want to make it a joint project with this scanlator.

  6. da MiGHTy pLUm! Says:

    no to that idea too.

  7. stelok Says:

So you’re going to work on Hiyoko Brand alone?
Ok. You’d better translate the manga from the chapter 28th instead of 26-27 which were already translated.

  8. da MiGHTy pLUm! Says:

no. we’ll do our own version of the series. end of discussion.

I actually got eager and went to download the other version since it had more chapters… but I like the PlumCity ones, better. The other one feels like a rush job, and the speech doesn’t flow naturally–in fact, the translator even admits that he didn’t bother proofreading the thing.

Well, no feelings were hurt if you downloaded another group’s version. Admittedly, we have been slow and were pretty inactive for the better part of 2 years. Whichever version people choose to read is their choice. We’re not out there to compete, just to work on whatever we enjoy.

Scanlation looks like it’s changed a bit over the years, but we’ll stick to the way we operate:

    1) Unlicensed (in North America) series only.

    2) If a series gets licensed, it will be dropped.

    3) And we will do our own version of the series, even if another group is working on it and ahead of us (Even though we’re only actively working on 1 project).

That’s just the way we roll. ;)

haha. yeah. scanlations have pretty muched changed over the years.. but i go for neat and quality work than speedy but crappy results. \m/

  12. Rovir Says:

oooops. that’s ‘much’ not ‘muched’.. crap, that was a mistake i didn’t notice. haha. well. it is 3:50 in the morning. better get to sleep. :3
